Rhinoplasty in France

For european patients

Take advantage of the numerous direct railway lines and airlines and the superb setting of the city of Montpellier, and have a rhinoplasty operation by organizing a short stay or holiday. Montpellier is located along the Mediterranean Sea in the south of France, 1 hour by plane or 3 hours by train from Paris.

Operations are performed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most operations take place on an outpatient basis (with a discharge the same day), on the condition that you stay less than 2 hours away from the clinic. If you prefer you can stay one night at the clinic without any extra charge. More complex procedures involving rib cartilage removal require overnight hospitalization. A post-operative appointment must be scheduled between the 6th and 9th day. It is possible to organize this appointment with a colleague of Dr. Carles in Paris.

Why?

Despite the additional expense of travel, patients often find that procedures in France are more affordable than those in the United States without compromising the quality of care. The value offered by Dr. Carles is a significant draw for international patients seeking top-notch services at a reasonable price.

How?

  • A 8-9 days stay
Subject to a prior videoconsultation, take advantage of your rhinoplasty and have an 8-9 days holiday in Montpellier, made possible with a consultation on the Monday, the procedure on the Tuesday or Thursday and the post-operative visit later during your stay.

  • It is possible to travel the day after the surgery for a short flight (less than 5 hours). You will just need to come back for the post operative consultation within 6 to 9 days. For a long flight, particularly transatlantic, it is necessary to wait 2 weeks.

Where should I stay?

  • Best option is to stay in the pedestrian city centre, near Dr Carles consultation. This is the best place to enjoy the old medieval city of Montpellier.  Be careful when choosing your accommodation, the streets can be very noisy and festive in the evening, especially at the end of the week. The hospital is 15 minutes from the centre by car or by tram.
  • You can stay near the Clementville hospital but there are few accommodations.
  • If you prefer a calm area located between the city centre and the hospital, choose "Les Arceaux quarter"
  • Note that Montpellier is a very touristic city, so you must book your accommodation early.
  • We can help you organize your stay in Montpellier. Just ask us !
